The Wonder Spot

unexplained phenomenon         optical illusion
location:  Lake Delton

The Wonder Spot house still stands as of May 2007, but the lot is abandoned.

photo contributed by Jeff Dallas

"No one stands erectly, sees correctly or walks a straight line as things that appear to be quite normal are just the opposite. You'll be mystified at what you'll experience in this small corner of the world where the laws of nature have gone awry. Water flows uphill, pendulums hang crookedly, and chairs balance on only two legs. Discovered in 1948, The Wonder Spot has baffled it's visitors for over 50 years. Amazing to both children and adults, the Wonder Spot continues to offer the best entertainment value in the Dells area."
